Menu Plan: Thursday, March 20th

Rough week at my house, cooking wise.  Some weeks I stick to my menu and everything flows great.  Other weeks, not so much.  Looking back I’m trying to figure out what went wrong.  Why did we end up having breakfast one night and take-out the other?  Why did the very thought of my menu selections make me want to cry?  None of the meals sounded good and half turned out less than yummy.  I’m not mentioning all this to complain, but as an exercise in trying to find out what went wrong so it doesn’t happen again.  Does a week, or a night, like this ever happen to you?  What do you do?  How do you get back on track?

Here’s the plan for this week:

Thursday: Chicken Noodle Soup, Artisan Bread, Cheese

Friday: Homemade Pizza, Veggie Tray, Salad

Saturday: Sloppy Joes, Chips, Dip, Carrot Sticks

Sunday: Grandma’s House

Monday: Spaghetti, Caesar Salad, Breadsticks

Tuesday: Chicken and Rice, Green Beans, Artisan Bread

Wednesday: Chicken Tacos, Rice and Beans, Chips and Salsa
